Denis Suarez scores a screamer to help Sevilla see off Zenit St Petersburg

The on-loan Barcelona man's brilliant strike completed an impressive comeback by the Andalusians

Denis Suarez helped Sevilla beat Zenit St Petersburg in the Europa League quarter finals.

The midfielder, on loan from Barcelona, stretched on the edge of the box to hit a brilliant volley wich seared into the far corner.

The goal helped Sevilla complete their comeback after a first-half Zenit strike from Ryazantsev had sent the Russians on their way.

But Carlos Bacca struck in the 73rd minute to help preserve Sevilla's unbeaten home record this season, and then Suarez provided the perfect finishing touch.

Unai Emery was left vindicated, while it remains to be seen how Barcelona's other loan star at Sevilla, would react, given the goings on earlier in the evening.
